University of Arkansas Libraries Instagram Metrics

The analytics below highlight the success of a strategic overhaul of the University of Arkansas Libraries’ Instagram, beginning when I joined as Public Relations Assistant in October 2024. Previously underused and inconsistent, the account was transformed through a student-centered, branded content strategy and the addition of interactive features. Since launching the new strategy, the account has reached 1.3M total views, with a 13.2K% increase in reach, and a top post earning 433K views. Posting frequency increased from fewer than 1 post per month to more than 200 posts total (about 3–4 per week). Engagement tools like polls, Q&As, stories, and student org collaborations helped drive visibility and 91K+ interactions. This section shows how consistent, thoughtful content paired with data analysis can turn a campus account into a platform for connection.
